Carbon Capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) involves technology that directly captures, transports, utilizes, and/or stores CO2 emitted from existing fossil fuel power plants. The thermal design of the CO2 capture process, particularly maintaining the reaction temperature, is a key factor for achieving efficiency. At the η (ETA) lab, we focus on the thermal-fluid analysis of the reactor and heat transfer in two-phase flows to design real reactors, mainly considering the heat duty and overall heat transfer in gas-solid two-phase flows.
